You are the Angel Girl. Neutral yet when you are
summoned to battle, you will fight for those
you love.
Brilliant and kind. You are the one everyone talks
to, and you usually have a crowd of guy friends
around you instead of girl friends. You seem to
relate to boys more. You brilliance is very
noticeable as you always seem to get great
marks and all the attention.
The teachers adore you and your wonderful marks.
They always call on you when there is a
question that cannot be answered by the other
class. They secretly know that you read ahead
and do the work that is due later on.
Love does not occur to you quickly but when it
does, it hits you hard and you can’t do
anything to stop it.
All in all you’re a great kid, always willing to
help out when help is needed. Watch out
though…the real world isn’t like it is now.
What anime girl are you?

What Shoujo Cutie Are You?
Yes, as expected Andrew got kicked out. He’s a nice guy, but I suppose that at this stage we should really be looking at who is going to be the Idol. ![]()
See you all soon!
Wow! Last night’s Malaysian Idol was incredible! We’re beginning to see who really has the potential to be the Malaysian Idol, and who should not be there. The score was:
Boys- 0
Girls - 1
Now, I’m not making judgements based on gender, but ability and showmanship. Let’s critique their performances, shall we?
Andrew…I can only say, “Too little, too late.” And he knows it. Sorry.
Vick… MISSED OPPORTUNITIES! One of the hallmarks of an Idol is their ability to engage the audience, and you are consistently doing anything but> that! I just can’t wait to be king was a good song, but you were missing the energy needed for it, and you missed a good opportunity to engage the audience. You should have changed the words “Everyone look left, everyone look right” and make it your own. If you could have gotten the audience to follow your lead (maybe everyone shout here, everyone cheer here ) you might have stood a better chance. Oh well.
Dina. Girl, you’re making the same mistakes Nikki did. Both of you are talented and beautiful, and undeniably fantastic. But you’re making the same mistakes. Your songs don’t flow well. You’re EDITING. We know you want o show oof your vocal range, but that’s not the way to it. You’re aware of it yourself, when you sing like that, you can’t control your pitching. I would say stop editing and start choosing. You can *be* there, girl. You just got to stop making silly mistakes. ![]()
Jac… Okay, I have to admit that’s she’s my favourite. Talented and has great showmanship. She had a weak performance in the beginning, but the seond more than made up for it. Good for you girl! Get some dental work though. You’re like Fantasia in that sense. Your teeth looks a little weird.
Well, that’s today’s critique. Have fun! ![]()
Shortly I made the second comlpaint on the Malaysian Idol forum, the whole thread was deleted. Kind of makes you wonder whether it was just coincidence or a conspiracy, considering that the thread was about 10 pages long and had been up since the announcement of RM 0.50 per vote.
I signed up and logged on as a new user on the Malaysian Idol Forum website. Imagine my surprise when shortly after posting some details on the payment system and what I was charged, the post disappeared. Not only that, several other posts detailing my thoughts were also gone. I suspect either a conspiracy or someone out tosilence us. Then again, it could have just been an oversight.
All I know is that I wrote FIVE posts, and only two survived the night. I’m suspicious, no? :p
Driving to college on a Monday morning with lots of people rushing is enough to make any beginner quake with fear. And we aren’t talking about the Federal Highway people. This is just the LDP (Damansara-Puchong). For those who don’t know, that’s the Highway I have to take to go to college, and this is my first time driving alone (ever!). It’s also the first time I’ve driven since my accident last sem (touch wood!) .
In any case, it was frightening. My dad’s friend, who ‘tutored’ me last Sat, told me to keep this in mind. On the road, assume everyone else is an ASS. He was right. The good news is that I made it in one piece. The bad news is that I have to drive back, but I’m hoping to drive sometime about 11-ish, when I’m done surfing and doing my things in college. See you guys soon! ![]()
Just taking a few minutes to update really quickly.
Yesterday, Stephanie, the author and owner of http://cosmicstar.blogspot.com left Malaysia to continue her studies overseas. I hope to see more of her blog (didn’t even know she had one till she told me) and I wish that she will be able to get her medical degree as soon as possible and return home. I’m sorry for not keeping in touch, Steph, but here’s to hoping that you’ll have success there in Ukraine! ![]()
The 2005 Budget is really a Budget I love. Sin taxes have gone up (absurdly- some say) and most of the rebates have increased as well.
Books are now RM 700 from RM 500 previously.
Computers are RM 500 from RM 400.
Ciggies 40% more expensive.
Alcohol 25-35%.
WHOPEE! ![]()
This week’s Malaysian Idol is *really* hot. The only thing that isn’t is Roslan. Someone get him off the jury! *runs screaming off into the horizon.
