Children of The Nile

July 25, 2006

Much harder game than I expected, but oh so much fun!

I’ve taken a slightly different approach from most city building games I play. I normally put peasant homes first (limiting them to how much I can possibly support) and then the basic essentials, followed by all the aesthetics.

In this case I screwed the aesthetics, have clumped the peasant houses together, built everything that didn’t need bricks and then started to relax a bit.

This is the first time (out of 4 restarts) that I’ve tried it. And guess what.

It’s the first scenario where my Phaorah died almost immediately.

Randomosity rocks.
